Comparison
Two apps built for mulching.
Different bets on how you get paid.
LandWorkPro is a voice-first bidding app built by a Tennessee land clearing operator. You talk through the job, it prices from your rates, and it collects payment in the app for a percentage. MulchDeck makes a different bet: parcel-accurate estimates, machine cost tracking, and profitability from real hours, fuel, and teeth, at one flat price that never takes a cut of your revenue.
What MulchDeck does differently
Real parcel boundaries, not hand tracing
Type the address and MulchDeck pulls the legal parcel lines onto the satellite map from county records across the country. Adjust from there instead of tracing the property by eye.
Machine costs, all the way down
Purchase price, interest, useful life, insurance, fuel burn, and operator wage per machine. Hour meters, maintenance due by hours, and cost per hour you can defend.
Profitability from actuals, per job and per acre
Crews log hours, fuel, and teeth each day. Every job shows estimated versus actual cost and real margin when it closes.
Before/after GPS-tagged photos and PDF reports
Photos attach to the job with coordinates and timestamps. Export branded before-and-after PDFs customers forward to their neighbors.
One price, no caps
$149/month covers every feature and every user. No monthly caps on lower tiers, no $249 upgrade to give a second crew its own roles.
No cut of your revenue
Invoices are your documents. Customers pay you directly by check, cash, card, or whatever you already use. MulchDeck never touches the money, so there is no percentage.
What LandWorkPro does that MulchDeck does not
LandWorkPro has real strengths, and if these are the features that matter most to how you run your business, it is worth a look.

Pricing
| Plan | Price | Crews & users | Fee on in-app payments |
|---|---|---|---|
| LandWorkPro Starter | $29/month | One crew, no per-job P&L | 1.5% |
| LandWorkPro Pro | $99/month | Unlimited crew, one role set | 0.9% |
| LandWorkPro Fleet | $249/month | Multi-crew roles | 0.5% |
| MulchDeck | $149/month | Unlimited users | 0% |
The subscription is not the whole cost. LandWorkPro charges a platform fee on every payment collected through the app, on top of standard card processing. A crew collecting $400,000 a year by card on the Pro plan pays about $3,600 in platform fees on top of the $1,188 subscription. MulchDeck is $1,788 a year, full stop, because your money never routes through it.
Common questions
How does LandWorkPro pricing compare to MulchDeck?
LandWorkPro has three tiers: Starter at $29/month for one crew with capped AI features and no per-job profit and loss, Pro at $99/month, and Fleet at $249/month for multi-crew roles. There is also a founder promo of $49/month for the first 12 months, limited to the first 100 operators, which then moves to $99. MulchDeck is one plan: $149/month flat, every feature, unlimited users, 14-day free trial.
Does LandWorkPro take a percentage of my jobs?
Payments collected through LandWorkPro carry a platform fee on every plan: 1.5% on Starter, 0.9% on Pro, 0.5% on Fleet, on top of standard card processing around 2.9% plus 30 cents. Bank transfer fees cap at $100 per transfer; card fees do not cap. Cash and check jobs outside the app are free. MulchDeck takes 0% of your revenue. Invoices are documents you share, and your customers pay you directly however you both prefer.
Does MulchDeck warn me if I bid below cost?
Not at bid time. LandWorkPro flags a bid below your break-even before you send it, and that is a genuinely useful feature. MulchDeck approaches it from the other side: you build your rate card from your real costs using the free break-even and machine cost calculators, then every finished job shows actual profitability from logged hours, fuel, and teeth. You see real margin, not an estimate of one.
Does MulchDeck have voice bidding?
No. You tap through acreage, vegetation density, and terrain, and the rate card prices the job in about a minute. The tradeoff is consistency: the same conditions always produce the same price, which customers and crews learn to trust.
Can I run multiple crews without paying more?
Yes. MulchDeck is $149/month with unlimited users at no extra cost, with owner and crew roles built in. On LandWorkPro, multiple crews with separate roles require the Fleet plan at $249/month.
Does MulchDeck work offline?
Yes. The whole app works offline on iOS and Android. Estimates, job logs, photos, and invoices save locally and sync when you get signal. Built for rural acreage.
$149/month flat. Unlimited users. 14-day free trial. 0% of your revenue.
