MulchDeck is operated by Crux Labs ("we", "us"). By using MulchDeck, you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language.

The service

MulchDeck is job management software for forestry mulching and land clearing contractors. It includes estimating, job tracking, photo management, invoicing, and free online calculators. It is available as a web app, iPhone app, and Android app.

Your account

  • You need an account to use the paid features. The free calculators at mulchdeck.com/tools do not require an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • One account per person. You can invite your crew to your company. They get their own accounts.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Pricing and payment

  • MulchDeck costs $149/month. No per-user charges. Your whole crew is included.
  • You get a 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start.
  • After the trial, you need a paid subscription to keep using the app. Your data is not deleted if you do not pay. It is just inaccessible until you subscribe.
  • You can cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period.
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice by email.

Your data

  • Your business data (jobs, estimates, photos, invoices, customers) belongs to you.
  • We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.
  • We host your data on our infrastructure. See our privacy policy for details.
  • You can delete your account and data at any time from the app settings.

Acceptable use

Use MulchDeck for managing your forestry mulching or land clearing business. Do not use it to:

  • Store or transmit illegal content.
  • Attempt to access other users' data.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the service.
  • Overload the service with automated requests beyond normal app usage.

Availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee 100% availability. The app is designed to work offline. Your data syncs when connectivity returns. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

Limitation of liability

MulchDeck is a record-keeping tool. It does not replace professional land surveys, engineering assessments, or legal advice. Acreage calculations from satellite polygon drawing are estimates, not survey-grade measurements. You are responsible for verifying estimates before committing to contracts.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crux Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top and notify you by email for significant changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
